Everything was explained to me what the procedure would entail, this gave me confidence to proceed with the operation. In November 2016 I had my gallbladder removed at the Alexandra Hospital under the care of Mr Alkhaffaf. From the initial consultation to the followup appointment I received excellent care throughout. He explained the condition and subsequent operation in detail, answering all my questions. The preoperative tests and scans were arranged promptly and the results discussed thoroughly. The operation itself went smoothly with a good team of carers from start to finish, each in their own way helping to allay any anxieties and apprehensions. The hospital was a clean and pleasant environment with friendly staff and excellent facilities. At followup 5 weeks later, his handiwork was examined and all questions were again answered satisfactorily. In all, the time frame from diagnosis to resolution was very reassuring, as was Mr Alkhaffaf. He has a charming manner, very patient and I thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing to undergo surgery.

Mr Bilal Alkhaffaf performed key hole surgery for the removal of my gallbladder September 2016 at the BMI Alexandra Hospital. Mr Alkhaffaf was very professional and thorough, he explained the procedure and what to expect during and after surgery. Recovery was much quicker than I expected, with very little scarring and no complications. Mr Alkhaffaf had an approachable, pleasant and friendly bedside manner and I would highly recommend him!
